For me, working with  glass  is working  with light. I place  together  pieces of glass with different  colors,  textures  and  transparencies, and create a natural and  flowing  pattern which blends with the room's interiors. What  attracts me to the art of stained glass is my love for  colors and  light. When sunlight  flows through  the pieces  of colored  glass, the quality and power  of the colors  attracts the eye and the heart, and  gives a  sensation of harmony and elation.

My  patterns  express the world  of nature.  Flowers, butterflies, birds and other  animals, which I convey in a precise manner or in an ornamental form. I also design geometric and abstract  figures,  of  forms  and  intertwined  stripes.  All  decisions  about  pattern, style, colors, and  transparencies  are made  with consideration  of  the  customer's  wishes and needs. I design stained glass windows for businesses and private houses, and I also make mirrors, clocks,  divisions,  vitrines,  pictures, colored  panels for hanging on the  window, and also gifts for the house and garden.

I studied  the art  of  stained glass in  Jerusalem just after  finishing my  army service,  and since then I did glassworks as a  hobby. I did many other artworks  such as drawing  and charting, building miniature  models of rooms,  paper  butterflies, sand bottles,  and  silver and gold  jewelry.  My love  for nature and  animals has led me to  study for  a degree  in biology and ecology, and glasswork  became a  hobby  for pastime.  Only in recent years my inner voice grew louder  and I realized I  should expressing  myself  more through  art. Creating with light and with strong  colors is to me the best way of combining my creative spirit  with the  material world.  In  this way I do what little  I can do to bring and enhance the beauty  and  harmony  in  the  human  environment,  and  to create an atmosphere  of tranquility, comfort and ease, to promote a colorful feeling of liveliness and inner  richness. This is why I decided to make it an occupation.
